Lightweight concrete cladding panel Athens
Description:
A smooth, easy on the eyes texture like this makes you wish you were relaxing on a beautiful Athens beach. The texture is just as elegant in the lightest colors as it is in the darkest. The panel is 24” X 24” X 1” with alternate sizes coming soon. Modifications to the panels are easy as they are not made with traditional concrete and can be cut with standard carpentry equipment.
Benefits:
Our DemiCrete concrete cladding panels are made from a patented, eco-friendly and lightweight concrete mix which make every one of our panels both easy to install, and a great choice for the environment. Our exclusive concrete formula is mostly recycled materials which make the cladding panels roughly 30-40% lighter than traditional concrete without having to sacrifice excess amounts strength. Above anything else, cladding panels must be extremely flexible to avoid cracking and breaking on your wall, but concrete is notorious for being very frigid. Our concrete mix guarantees an exponential improvement in flexural strength to maximize the life span of our panels when compared to our competitors.
Instillation Guide:
The interior cladding panels are by far our easiest product to install, and we recommend two great methods for doing so. Using construction adhesive or using a pneumatic stapler.
Construction Adhesive Method- The DemiCrete interior concrete cladding can be installed on either concrete, drywall, cinderblocks, backer boards, plywood or any other standard building underlayment. Use standard construction adhesive in the recommended caulk gun the manufacturer provided. Squeeze the adhesive in a zigzag shape on the back of your panels and apply it to your wall. If any adjustments need to be made to the cladding panel, standard carpentry equipment may be used to cut or modify the panel to meet your desired dimensions.
Pneumatic Stapler Method- The DemiCrete interior concrete cladding can be installed on either drywall, backer boards, plywood or any other soft building underlayment with the stapler method. Place the panel on your wall, and shoot one staple in each corner, as long as one in the middle. Some staples may be visible under close inspection so if this is a dealbreaker, we recommend using the construction adhesive method instead. If any adjustments need to be made to the cladding panel, standard carpentry equipment may be used to cut or modify the panel to meet your desired dimensions.
